City General Hospital was the hospital at which Dr. Vera Juarez repaired what should have been fatal cardiovascular damage to Rex Matheson. It was also the location of a particularly grisly autopsy on the suicide bomber who had intended to kill Jack Harkness and Esther Drummond at the CIA archives building.
Matheson checked out of City General against medical advice in order to fly to Wales and find what remained of Torchwood.
It was unclear where, exactly, City General was. It could have been in northern Virginia, southern Maryland or Washington, D.C. proper. (TW: The New World)
