Mbandaka was a city in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
History
Some time in the 21st century, a spaceport was established outside of the city, due to its proximity to the equator. The One Small Step, a mark II world builder launched from the spaceport in the early 22nd century with over eight hundred colonists on board to establish a colony on the planet Sunday.
