One Small Step
The One Small Step was a mark II world-builder which transported human colonists from Earth to the planet Sunday in the 22nd century. It carried over 800 colonists.
One Small Step had a “shipbrain”, a computer system which Candy Kane and Orlo used to educate themselves on their voyage to Sunday. They used it to play competitive games against the computer, and also to learn Morse code.
The ship had three shiny fins which were “totally functionless” according to Orlo, and served only to look impressive. (PROSE: Wetworld)

The ship ran on a power-core, a fission reactor which was highly pollutive. This was chosen over a fusion generator as it would save money.
The One Small Step was launched from Mbandaka in the Democratic Republic of Congo, due to this location’s proximity to the Earth's equator allowing for an easy launch. It made landfall on a Sunday in the year 2107.
After landing on Sunday, the ship was washed away by a tidal wave resulting from a meteor strike, and was thought to be lost forever. The Sundayan settlers managed to recover the ship's nuclear fission generator to power their new settlement.
The ship's wreckage was discovered years later by Orlo after otters had damaged a tidal dam downstream, causing the water level to drop and expose the sunken ship.
The ship's nuclear power-core was hijacked by the Swamp monster, who attempted to use its uranium content to build a nuclear bomb. This plot was ultimately thwarted by Candy Kane.
