Cardiff (Welsh: Caerdydd) is the capital and largest city of Wales and the location of Torchwood 3. There is a rift in time and space which runs through the city, under the Roald Dahl Plass.
Appearances in Doctor Who
- The Unquiet Dead: The Ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler encounter both Charles Dickens and a time rift in 1879 on Christmas Day in Cardiff.
- Boom Town: The TARDIS lands in Cardiff in September 2006 to use the wound of the time rift to refuel.
