Lake Silencio (Pronounced Si - Len - See - O) was located in Utah. On 22nd April, 2011, the Eleventh Doctor brought his companions to the lake for a picnic. At one point during the picnic, Amy Pond saw a member of the Silence off in the distance, but promptly forgot about it when she looked away. During the picnic, River Song in an Apollo spacesuit emerged from the lake and shot the Doctor three times, killing him.
