The main purpose of Doctor Who (2005) television stories is really administrative. It's redundant in many ways of categories like Series 1 (Doctor Who) stories, but it makes it easier to give full lists of every episode since Rose and to play the Game of Rassilon.

In general, categories should not be hidden. However, in the case of categories which are created solely for use with advanced coding functions like DPL or SMW, then it can be useful to hide them.
