Publisher's summary

'A special audio adaptation of the Doctor Who stage-play from the 1980s.'

The Daleks have allied themselves with the Cybermen and a deadly band of mercenaries. The future of Earth depends upon a vital peace conference. And Mrs T knows that only one Time Lord can save the world.

There are epic battles. There are betrayals. There is love, and there even songs.

Notes

  • This was an adaptation of the original stageplay Doctor Who: The Ultimate Adventure.
  • Colin Baker and David Banks are the only lead actors from the original play to reprise their roles for the audio version.

Continuity

  • The Doctor tells Crystal "I've had many, many companions in the TARDIS over the years - Susan, Jamie and Zoe, Leela, Peri and Evelyn." The original play, of course, makes no reference to Evelyn, who was introduced for the audio range.

Timeline

  • The Ultimate Adventure (audio version) occurs sometime after the Doctor's travels with Evelyn Smythe.
  • The Ultimate Adventure occurs before DW: Time and the Rani.
