Article of the month
Since its first broadcast in 1963, much footage from Doctor Who has been lost, to the point where there are many missing episodes. These came about due to the pricey nature of camera film, with the BBC simply reusing it, copying new programs over the previous contents — which was often Who. All of the episodes that are missing feature the First or Second Doctor and many have cropped up over the years from various sources, such as Australian censorship. Read more.
