This is the sixth story in series 4. It will feature the Tenth Doctor, Martha Jones and Donna Noble. Georgia Moffett daughter of Peter Davison will also play a character called Jenny.

Synopsis

The Doctor, Martha and Donna arrive on the distant planet Messaline, which is in the middle of an endless war. While there the Doctor meets the most important woman of his life; his daughter, Jenny.

But as General Cobb threatens genocide, and Martha is kidnapped by the Hath, the Doctor faces an even greater battle – can he find peace with his own child?

Rumours

  • The monster featured in this episode will be called the Hath. They apparently communicate via bubbles. Catherine Tate mentioned a future monster called the Hath during the podcast for Partners in Crime.
  • Some people believe that the episode title is a red herring. Because of this some have speculated that the Doctor's daughter is actually:
    • Created by the Hath's bubbles.
    • Created by aliens from stolen DNA from the Doctor and the Master.
    • An illusion.
    • A clone.
  • Some have speculated that Jenny is Susan's mother.
  • The Judoon are rumoured to appear in flashbacks in this episode.
  • It is rumored to be a sad episode; some people believe that Jenny will sacrifice herself to save the Doctor.
