Lee Harvey Oswald
Lee Harvey Oswald was an alleged assassin.
On 22 November 1963, the Ninth Doctor was photographed in Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas. U.S. President John F. Kennedy passed within a few feet of him an instant before being fatally shot, presumably by Oswald. (TV: Rose; WEB: Defending the Earth!)
One account alleges, however, that Oswald had been prevented from carrying out the assassination by the Master's minion, Francis Cleary. Oswald's life was saved by time-travelling journalist James Stevens whose still older self completed Oswald's mission by shooting Kennedy and letting Oswald take the blame. The next day, on 23 November 1963, the front page of the Daily Standard reported the capture of Oswald for the Kennedy assassination. (TV: The Cambridge Spy)
Twenty-five years later, on 23 November 1988, the Seventh Doctor asserted to Ace that Oswald was influenced to kill Kennedy by the Nemesis comet. The pair had just arrived from the 22-23 November 1963 Shoreditch Incident. (TV: Silver Nemesis)

- Doctor Who premièred with An Unearthly Child at 17:15 on 23 November 1963, the day after Lee Harvey Oswald killed President Kennedy; the 23rd was the setting of both Remembrance of the Daleks and The Cambridge Spy.
