On 21 March, a number of things set in or relevant to the Doctor Who universe were released or published.
- 1964 - "Rider from Shang-Tu" was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1970 - Episode one of The Ambassadors of Death was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1970 - Part four of TV Comic story The Multi-Mobile was first published.
- 1981 - Part four Logopolis was first broadcast on BBC1, completing the eighteenth season of Doctor Who.
- 1996 - Sleepy and The English Way of Death were first published by Virgin Books.
- 1996 - Ace! The Inside Story of the End of an Era was first published by Doctor Who Books.
- 2007 - Doctor Who: Battles in Time comic story Beyond the Sea was first published.
- 2008 - Fragments was first broadcast on BBC Three.
- 2011 - Doctor Who: Original Television Soundtrack: A Christmas Carol was first released on CD by Silva Screen Records.
- 2013 - Doctor Who Adventures comic story The Tail of Decky Flamboon was first published.
