2015 was a year that both the Fourth Doctor attempted to take Leela to; they ended up on 30 January 2025. (AUDIO: Energy of the Daleks)

During this year, Harry Sullivan was said to be alive and working for MI5 (PROSE: Damaged Goods), despite his friend and fellow companion Sarah Jane Smith's belief that he had died by 2009 (PROSE: The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith).

The relations between the United States and Cuba remained tense. The Centre of Balance, which had been founded in the United Kingdom by Clarke Goodman in 1987, had 244 million members worldwide. Its membership had increased fivefold since 2010. (AUDIO: The Eight Truths) The British space programme was fully operational but retained its reputation for amateurism. (AUDIO: The Eight Truths)

By this time, Sally Morgan was a 15-year-old orphan who was living with her grandfather. (AUDIO: Project: Nirvana)

Other realities

A dream created by the Dream Lord was set in this year. In it, the Eleventh Doctor returned to Amy Pond and Rory Williams in Upper Leadworth on the day before Amy would give birth to her first child. The Doctor, Amy and Rory were pursued by the Eknodine. The three alternated between this dream and another dream set onboard a dead TARDIS headed for a cold star. The Dream Lord led them to believe one of the dreams was reality. With Rory killed by the Eknodine, Amy decided she was willing to risk death if it meant there was a chance of seeing Rory again. She crashed a van into a house, killing herself and the Doctor in the dream and "waking them up" on the TARDIS, bound for the cold star. (TV: Amy's Choice)
