In St John's Wood, Cristián Alvarez met the Seventh Doctor, Ace and Bernice Summerfield for one of several times in his life. They then encountered the Daleks in London, who intended to destroy the Earth and all its human inhabitants by boosting the energy transfer to the planet the following day and therefore causing a multitude of natural disasters. Luckily, the Doctor destroyed their Robomen through sonic waves, and re-targeted the energy transfer to the Dalek ship, defeating them too and saving the Earth.
