- Just wanted to say that I thought your Chula article was great. Nothing wrong as far as I can see.

About your userpage
"Well, I can't think of any other ways to pad this out." You can always brag by adding a list of the articles you created. :) Anyway, on another completely non-related point, it might just help if you vote for featured article noms on Talk:Main Page, seeming as so far nobody else has. ~ Ghelæ -talk-contribs 20:50, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hey, I did mention how I liked the dinosaur page.
Hi
Hello Azes13, I know I haven’t been here long but I would like to make a valuable contribution to Tardis, I was wondering if you would think I would make any good as an Admin. Joker1138(The Hub)
- Well, if you want, I suppose you could be an Admin. Personally, I haven't found much of a difference between being an admin and regular accounts. Azes13 20:02, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Human Time Lords
To prevent Sichamousacoricothingmabob asking this question sans capitales (or something like that, I'm not that good à français) and with every third word tpyoesd, I'll ask it myself: Would you, Azes the Thirteenth, like to join the Human Time Lord Order? (note: you do not have to be a human to join the order, although it helps) ~ Ghelæ -talk-contribs 17:47, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- Naw, man. Sovereign Earth Reptile Empire all the way! Actually, that seems like an nifty idea. Maybe I better get some stuff for that...
- Also, can't help you with the French stuff. Sorry! Azes13 19:13, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- Euh, ça va. Mais tu te rends comte de les noveaux seigneurs du temps sont pas-pas-d'interventionist?
- Or something like that... not that you'd understand it to see where I was inevitably wrong... and for the record, there's already a strong Earth Reptile Empire anyway. A bit slow off the mark there. Some 65 million years too slow... ~ Ghelæ -talk-contribs 19:46, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- Schwa? Something about intervention? Man, I should have paid more attention in French class.
- Also, there was a strong Time Lord empire too. Not sure how far off the mark you are, what with them ceasing to exist... Azes13 20:24, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- Enh, it's good enough. I'll get back to you if I can think of a better come-back. Azes13 21:07, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks... AH! I've just worked out what you were on about! *realises he shouldn't sound so exited* Well, the idea of the Human Time Lords is to remake the Time Lords, so once the training's done they will exist again! (I think that's what you were on about) Na-na-na-na-na-na! *realises he shouldn't act so childish, and how much like a police car he sounded when doing that* Erm... yeah, that's it... I think... erm... oh yeah, what about schwas? ~ Ghelæ -talk-contribs 15:53, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- Well, the idea of SERE is to remake the Silurian Empire, so once the training's done they will rule again. The Human Time Lords replaces the Time Lords (who are dead), while SERE replaces the Earth Reptiles (who just fail at conquering and become a token minority for Earth Empires). Therefore, both organizations are equally valid based on the idea of replacing major powers with a new one.
- Yeah, that's right, you got OWNED!
- Also, schwa means "I should know what you just said, but I don't". Azes13 20:18, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- Good enough for me! Azes13 20:04, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
Your work
I think you are great! I've edited just a few, normally 4th Doctor, but I couldn't do better than you!
Chula Page
I think the work on Chula is great. It's my favourite episode out of the 9th AND 10th, so I'm proud when I see some helpful info. I can safely say you are a real helper on TARDIS Index File!

Regeneration Page
Hi Azes, Thanks for correcting the tense in my edit of the Regeneration page, I hadn't realised in universe articles were supposed to be in the past tense (ooops). I notice that you've also removed some content that I added to the page and also some older content. I'm somewhat new at this and am unclear as to why you've done that, as it seems relevant to me? Could you give me an indication of why you have made that change so that I can put the information where it should be or know why it shouldn't be included.
Regards Grabthar 04:43, 9 June 2008 (GMT)
- Let's see: I added back the bit about growing back a hand because the sentence was unfinished, I changed the section on the Master only because I was working with an older copy which didn't have that format, the part about the Doctor trial seemed to fit better with the section on control, I removed the section about the control of Romana and the Doctor because it's best not to speculate on matters in the main text and I removed the part about the Master stopping his regeneration because it had been said before and it wasn't about an aborted regeneration.
- I think that's everything. Any other questions? -<Azes13 14:02, 9 June 2008 (UTC)>-
- Thanks. It was the part containing the conjecture that I was most interested in, you see I had expanded a pre-exsisting point of conjecture that was already on the page; as I'm new to this wiki I didn't know what the policy on that sort of thing is so I just followed the pattern of what was already in the article. You say "it's best not to speculate on matters in the main text" does this mean there is a place where speculation, such as the one removed, should be included? I was trying to get the atrticle to read in such a way as it highlights that, whilst there is a lot of source information on the subject, that clear conclusions can't be drawn.
Thanks again.
- Grabthar 14:40, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- The speculation should be put under the paragraph in italics, like the section on how regeneration may be given to non-Time Lords. _<Azes13 19:03, 9 June 2008 (UTC)>-

God
Hello. I write regarding your comment on the God entry. You say:
That doesn't seem to be right. I can remember at least two references to Doctor being more agnostic than plain atheist and I can't remember any references to god in Castrovalva, Everything Changes or They Keep Killing Suzie. The fact that it's out of universe doesn't really help its case. I'm just going to remove it. -<Azes13 22:47, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Can you tell me where these references to the Doctor's agnosticism might be? How confident to you feel about the claim that the Doctor is more agnostic than atheist?
Thanks!
- No, I can't remember that. I wrote that months ago and I've long since forgotten what the references were. If I was to hazard a guess, I think it might have been in Placebo Effect, St Anthony's Fire or maybe The Pit. -<Azes13 14:26, September 8, 2009 (UTC)
Wikipedia
I took the text from Wikipedia, I thought that was ok, seeing as their are quite a few entries saying 'This article features text originating on Wikipedia'I'm A Hydroponic Tomato! Bigredrabbit 21:12, November 11, 2009 (UTC)
- I find that very hard to believe, considering I can find none of your pages on Wikipedia and I can find them on The Bumper Book of Doctor Who Monsters, Villains and Alien Species with near identical text and the same images. Even if you did take the information from Wikipedia, you still needed to add the Template:Wikipedia tag. -<Azes13 22:56, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

Did I commit some faux pa when I wrote that page? because I'm rather new at this, but the edit that was done is rather ... dull to be honest. Should I write them more "just the facts" in the future?Bumbles the Time Lord 23:03, February 3, 2010 (UTC)Bumbles the Time Lord

Not sure what the point of that was.
Hi, mind if I ask why you reverted those changes in the Weeping Angel article? If you don't understand why using a template for repetitive tasks is preferable I'll gladly explain it to you. —ff 14:39, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
- It just makes the page look weirder and less consistant. Anyway, it's hardly that repetitive. I don't see why you can't just copy/paste the citations the regular way. -<Azes13 17:13, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, I created the template to make the pages look more consistent. Since the template will always produce the same markup, how does it make pages look less consistent? Copy and pasting stuff is the source of many errors and doesn't allow to change the appearance later, for example by introducing a non-breaking space between the prefix and the title. —ff 07:21, May 25, 2010 (UTC)

- "Comic story character" seems too out-of-universe. There's plenty of in-universe categories and sub-categories; you should be able to find suitable ones. -<Azes13 00:38, July 12, 2010 (UTC)

The Silence
Hi,
Any particular reason why you deleted the information I contributed. Although what I wrote was not explained in the episodes featuring The Silence I feel it gives a very good description as to why no one can remember them once they turn away. The BBC website article on them says they have powers of telepathy, crypsis is the scientific definition of avoiding detection by other organisms, and their power involves people losing their memory so my contribution combines allthese different bits into one theory that explains them perfectly.
As such please explain the reason for deletion.
- You're not supposed to put speculation on the page, only what's actually in the episodes themselves. They way its described in the paragraph would make it seem like the theory was actually posited by the Doctor or something, when it was actually just made up by you. -<Azes13 19:23, July 6, 2011 (UTC)

Brain parasites
I'll accept your removal of my page associations, but I disagree (mostly) with each of the three reasons you listed for removing them. I had suggested that the Tumour alien and the Brain parasite were the same species in two different seasons of Torchwood. 1) You correctly pointed out that they don't look alike - but you wouldn't expect them to... Jack said that the "Tumour alien" incubated in Katie's head (suggesting that it is a juvenile); and you couldn't fit the "Brain parasite" into a person's head (it only deposits the larva, which grow in the victim's brain). These two forms are basically identified as: young vs mature. 2) The symptoms of "insanity" and "Alzheimer's" (aka presenile dementia) are different, depending on how much detail one goes into (less different if you're just generalizing). One "incubates" in the brain, the other "deposits larva which drill into the brain". The parasite was said to "take a long time", while we don't know how long Katie was suffering apart from the mis-diagnosis of "quick-onset Alzheimer's". 3) Neither alien occurrence is named, although Jack calls one "a species of Brainspawn" in TV: Immortal Sins. It's true Jack doesn't mention the other case in either situation (whichever came second in his timeline). As I said, I accept the removal, I just thought there was a strong case for the association.Watcher4200 08:53, August 27, 2011 (UTC)
- For this sort of situation, you don't want to overcomplicate things. It's easier to assume that two different organisms are different species instead of one species with different traits on different occasions.
- That would mean the parasite starts out small, develops into a starfish-like creature and then develops into a worm-like creature, requiring it to completely change its shape and/or lose much of its mass. It's easier to assume that the brain parasite starts out a worm, grows into a worm and leaves the host as a worm.
- It would seem like a leap to go from memory loss to some form of insanity where you back out of a war. No reason to assume the symptoms change that drastically over time unless they say otherwise.
- "A species of brainspawn" would just show that there is more than one type of parasite that inhabits the brain, so we don't have to assume every brain parasite is the same species. -<Azes13 01:39, August 29, 2011 (UTC)

Image rules cheat card
I'm noticing more and more instances of people uploading pictures which are, according to agreed practises, flawed in some way. I'm thinking that part of the reason might be that we haven't put it all together on one page, so I've created T:ICC, or Help:Image cheat card. It's kind of in the vein of the Help:Spelling cheat card — just a quick run-through of the big points about image usage. Let me know if you think it could be improved.

Images by story categories
Please be aware that images by televised story and images by comic story are now completely filled out with subcategories for each and every story of that type. So if you have an image from say, Thinktwice, you'll want to make sure that you put it in Category:Thinktwice comic story images. Or if you have something from The Mind of Evil, please ensure it gets into Category:The Mind of Evil TV story images.
These images by story categories are, of course, in addition to any other categories which may be appropriate, such as ones from Images by character, Images by object, or images by species.
Images by story will continue to grow over the coming weeks to include other media, but comics and TV were deemed the highest priority, since the vast majority of images will come from these two visual media.
Also, if you haven't noticed it for now, TV story pages now all have a little tab at the top left labelled "images". Clicking it takes you to the relevant category, so that you can quickly view our repository of images from that particular story All stories will eventually have this sort of link. Longer term, individual charactes might also have such a link.

Television Episode Section
Currently to get to a list of the episodes ordered by Doctor and Season, you have to go to the tab bar, hover over TV then click Doctor Who which brings you to the Doctor Who Tv Show Page. Then you have to scroll down to the bottom of the page to get the list of TV episodes by Doctor and. Seems like a lot to me to get a list that many users would be looking for on this wiki.
Now I'm not sure if there is currently a faster way I haven't found to get to such a list but I would recommend adding a link to the tab panel that leads you to a page which has all the episodes organised in the same way, by Doctor and Seasons, as the section that is at the bottom of the Doctor Who Tv show Page. --BorgKnight ☎ 22:04, August 4, 2013 (UTC)

Christmas cheer
As this fiftieth anniversary year comes to a close, we here at Tardis just want to thank you for being a part of our community — even if you haven't edited here in a while. If you have edited with us this year, then thanks for all your hard work.
This year has seen an impressive amount of growth. We've added about 11,000 pages this year, which is frankly incredible for a wiki this big. November was predictably one of the busiest months we've ever had: over 500 unique editors pitched in. It was the highest number of editors in wiki history for a year in which only one programme in the DWU was active. And our viewing stats have been through the roof. We've averaged well over 2 million page views each week for the last two months, with some weeks seeing over 4 million views!
We've received an unprecedented level of support from Wikia Staff, resulting in all sorts of new goodies and productive new relationships. And we've recently decided to lift almost every block we've ever made so as to allow most everyone a second chance to be part of our community.
2014 promises to build on this year's foundations, especially since we've got a full, unbroken series coming up — something that hasn't happened since 2011. We hope you'll stick with us — or return to the Tardis — so that you can be a part of the fun!
Hi !
I've just discover this wiki, and I've seen, at the bottom of the pages, something I really enjoy... I talking about the interlanguage links with flags.
I'm admin of a wiki about the world of percy jackson's series (Wiki Percy Jackson), and it will be wonderful if I can use that on 'my' wiki. Can I copy the code ? And if you agree, where is it ?
Have a good day,
