A receptionist worked at a restaurant by the Singing Towers on the planet Darillium, The Twelfth Doctor was indirectly responsible for creating her job, as he was the one who inspired the existence of the restaurant by giving Alphonse the idea to build it.

The Doctor journeyed into the future to when Alphonse's restaurant was built and thriving, asking the receptionist for a table on the balcony with a view of the towers. However, the restaurant was so busy that it was fully booked many years in advance, and the first available slot the currently long-haired receptionist had was Christmas Day in four years' time. The Doctor happily agreed to this appointment, knowing the wait was irrelevant with the TARDIS.

Four years later, the older receptionist, who by now was sporting a new hairstyle, directed River Song to her table on the balcony, where the Doctor was waiting for her. When River asked if they had a good table, the receptionist replied that it was "the finest in all the galaxy". River took a moment so she could use her special outfit-transforming perfume to change clothes for her date, then continued to the balcony as the receptionist left. (TV: The Husbands of River Song)
