Juan was Fernanda's husband and Maria Gonzalez's father.
He and Fernanda raised a family of fifteen in Mexico while living in a one-room shack.
He died at least several years before Miguel Gonzalez opened the laundromat in Sunset Park. Fernanda remembered him every year on the Day of the Dead.
Because of the influence of the Cerebravores, Fernanda and Hector both saw an image of him briefly distorted to show him in torment. (COMIC: Revolutions of Terror)
