Diary of River Song casts

Hey, I saw you recently added the casts for some of the new series 3 stories, which is great, but I was just wondering where you found the casts for each individual story, because all I could find was the cast for the entire set. Thanks for your time. 0003c9fe 15:21, January 23, 2018 (UTC)

how does this talking thing works at all ???? (shocked emoji) The preceding unsigned comment was added by Starryl (talk • contribs) .

Attitude

First, please do not spam pages of other editors with thought about your greatness. Address them to me on my talk page. And do sign your messages please.

Second, let me be very clear. However "great" you are on another wiki, you are not entitled to violate policies of this wiki. As an admin, it is my job to prevent you from doing so and, even more importantly, from leading other users astray. Your wiki has its own set of rules, which I know nothing about. Hence, I do not feel justified in telling you how to do things over there. (Even though many of the page titles are horribly misspelled, according to Google Translate. I just had to remove links to pages that have very cursory semblance to the actual English name.) By the same token, please do not presume that any experience you might have on another wiki makes you in any way knowledgable of our rules and policies.

Sorry to state the obvious, but with less than two dozen edits and less than half a year of editing experience, you are a novice by any measure.

Finally, whatever frivolities you are allowed on the other wiki, the kinds of attitudes that you express on your user page there are completely antithetic to the core principles of this wiki. Here is a Google Translation of your hostile message towards other editors of the other wiki:

River Song - in progress (do not intervene under any circumstances, just accept as a fact that you know less - I used all the existing materials on the river, even small idiotic comics of titanium.) If you get it or do not understand why it is written that way - You can always ask for comments or comments, you do not need editors for the article, all edits will be mercilessly canceled, more than typos or a forgotten comma.) [ru:Участник:Starryl#.D0.9F.D0.B5.D1.80.D1.81.D0.BE.D0.BD.D0.B0.D0.BB.D0.B8.D0.B8: [src]]

If any of this attitude shows in your messages towards other editors on this wiki, you will undoubtedly be banned.

We believe in collaboration and mutual respect. No one can claim to know more than everyone else. "To err is human" and all that. Further, your comment on "small idiotic comics of titanium", which is presumably Russian for Titan Comics, would here be in direct violation of Tardis:Neutral point of view. So is the idea that one editor (not even an admin) can have enough hubris to demand exclusive rights for editing a popular character such as River Song (seemingly forever?).

To summarise, if it is more important for you to feel superior towards other editors than to engage in productive discussions, if you feel offended when an admin points out policies you are not aware of, perhaps, the best solution for you is not to venture beyond your sandbox where you, apparently, may push other editors around.

PS. Here is another of "our" policies, as you call it, which you will have to abide by if you choose to stay. Do not put words in all capitals for emphasis. That is shouting and is not considered civil behaviour in the sense of Tardis:Discussion policy.

PPS. You have by now repeatedly ignored two policies after being pointed them out. Please sign your posts and please make links in your cast lists. When you listen to the audio but instead of using this knowledge leave it unlinked as it is on the website, you actually do harm as another user may create an incorrect page based on your input. If you can't be bothered to make correct red links following Tardis:Redlinks, please do not bother adding cast lists at all. Amorkuz 20:01, January 23, 2018 (UTC)

please, could you pay a bit more attention when you reading??? if you were - you could've see, that your wiki is NOT THE ONLY (and not the main my focus by the way) were i'm writing. and also you could've see the LINK to page i ask not to touch - it has nothing to do with this part and this wiki users. and yes, in russian segment i am the main editor to everything that correlates with river song. and that is absolutely normal for russian part of DW wiki to mark some articles for one or two users, who are experts on subject. and there are reasons to that. so all you comments are pointless.

you "signs" doesn't work normally and my keyboard even doesn't have button for that thing. the whole message system here is rather uncomfortable actually. and as my interest in english version doesn't go further than putting links between languages or correcting small typos, i don't see any reason for me to adopt to it. (the "spam" wasn't intentional, only the consequence of unfriendly message system. anyway, if answering there was wrong - why didn't YOU move the whole thing to my page but continue the talk there???)

as for cast lists - i listened to audio. i separated characters from common list, because i did it anyway for russian page. on pure occasion i put them in english too. well, it seemed useful as editor didn't know that. i absolutely do not care what english speaking editors will do with them. add links, change places however they would like, and so on. there is no article in english i follow. i did put a draft because it's better than nothing. and i absolutely don't mind if someone will edit it to whatever you like. i have more than enough to fill in russian, and no intention to add english to it.
