Loomstack

Loomstacks on Gallifrey Eight spewed out a thick black smoke that perpetually blocked the sun over the Capitol. They incinerated dead soldiers, broke their bodies into raw fabric, and then rewove them to create more troops for the War effort. When Homunculette visited with the Lord President, the looms were trying to rebuild forces devastated by the disastrous rout at Delphon. (PROSE: The Taking of Planet 5)
