Someone, presumbably, the Doctor, had erased all information on Rose Tyler from the Torchwood Institute database, using the Bad Wolf computer virus. (DW: Love & Monsters)

Notes

The Doctor offered Mickey Smith a computer disc containing a virus which, if activated, would erase all mention of the Doctor from the internet. (DW: World War III).
