Arkwood Private School

Arkwood Private School was a school located in a village in England. It had a dining room and a chemistry room.

In 1970, students from the school visited a nearby zoo on a field trip. One of the students, Cedric Mathews, drugged the animals with a formula he created which enhanced aggression. When the zoo contacted UNIT to investigate the animals' changed behaviour, the Third Doctor and Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart went to the school, but were unable to stop Mathews from drugging the other students, who went on a rampage. The Doctor used the school's chemistry lab to create a pacifying drug which stopped the students. (COMIC: The Arkwood Experiments)
