Ellard presided over Mary Cleaver funeral that Ray Cleaver attended in 1965. He later tried to console him in his hour of need to find out who his father was. He was killed when Templeton's soldiers attacked the Wilcock Institute. (AUDIO: Sins of the Fathers)
