• 10 January - AUDIO: The Ratings War, a single-episode story, was first released as an exclusive giveaway with Doctor Who Magazine. Also included on the CD was episode 1 of AUDIO: Invaders from Mars.
• 14 January - The Tomb of the Cybermen was released to DVD in the UK.
