A blue creature that lived in another dimension was given to Barry Jackson by the Committee with a device to control it. Barry used it to kill his fellow candidates for the office of Lord Mayor, namely Brian Rayner, Ross Bevan, Julie Jones and Helen Evans. Yvonne Hartman destroyed the device that summoned it.
