Rufus was an acquaintance of Ace who told her about something strange at a place where he worked. He knew of the house on Allen Road. He deliberately tricked Ace to get the sin eater away from his family. He revealed his plans over the TV show. He was the first human Raymond and Rohesia converted when they arrived on the planet.
