Brixton

Brixton was a district in south London.

To the south-west of Brixton was Morden, roughly to the west was Richmond, to the north-east was New Cross and roughly east was Lewisham. (TV: Revenge of the Slitheen)

The Second Drax, a Time Lord, was caught committing crimes to procure replacement parts for his TARDIS and served a prison sentence in Brixton. During his stay Drax picked up Brixton's local "lingo" to survive. The resulting accent and idioms remained part of his speech patterns after he left Earth and resumed his travels.
