Mrs Aitken (PROSE: Survival) was a resident of Perivale and the mother of Dave.
Biography
One Sunday in June 1989, Mrs Aitken was preparing dinner whilst Dave was washing the car in front of their home. She called to him from the window and told him that dinner was on the table. That was the last time she saw him.
While Mrs Aitken stood outside looking for Dave, the Seventh Doctor and former Perivale resident Ace walked past. The Doctor stopped to right Dave's overturned water bucket and tipped his hat to her before continuing on their way. (TV: Survival)
Behind the scenes
- In the novelisation, the woman is given the name "Mrs Aitken" and is made Dave's wife rather than his mother.
