Molecular dissemination

Molecular dissemination was a method of transporting matter across the galaxies, propagated on Earth in the 41st century.

Scientists affiliated with the Space Service were the first to experiment with long distance molecular dissemination in an experiment designed to transport mice to the planet Mira. Complications arose when the First Doctor, Steven Taylor and Sara Kingdom got caught up in the experiment. Despite this inconvenience, the experiment proved successful. (TV: The Daleks' Master Plan)

One account claims the purpose of the experiment was to improve the distance of travel allowed by the T-Mat system. (PROSE: Mission to the Unknown) A future Sara Kingdom suggested molecular dissemination to Mavic Chen in 3999 as an alternative space travel to replace the Great Clock's stabilising Earth's hyper-lanes.
