Polly James (born 8 July 1941[1]) played Jane Hampden in the Doctor Who television story The Awakening.
She was due to contribute to the audio commentary for the story's DVD release, but was ultimately unavailable. (DCOM: The Awakening)
Career
Outside of Doctor Who, she is best known for playing Beryl on the BBC sitcom The Liver Birds, which also starred Nerys Hughes.
Personal life
She is the mother to actor Adam James, who appeared in Planet of the Dead.
