History
On 7 March 2006, when the Ninth Doctor gave Mickey Smith a computer virus, he had his back to Maddock Cleaners. Rose and Jackie Tyler passed it when they walked towards the Doctor from the end of the row of shops. (TV: World War Three [+]Loading...["World War Three (TV story)"])
Behind the scenes
The area of shops in the Powell Estate, in the real world, is technically not part of the Brandon Estate (although it is in the immediate area of said estate). The area of shops is built along Maddock Way, hence the name of the cleaners.
