The New Roman Empire was a civilization that flourished around the year 12005. Shortly after Rose Tyler became the Ninth Doctor's travelling companion, he offered to take her to the New Roman Empire. (DW: The End of the World)
- If the New Roman Empire was a galactic empire, then it could be thought of as the "Third Great and Bountiful Human Empire", being the only known human empire inbetween the Second Great and Bountiful Human Empire and the Fourth Great and Bountiful Human Empire.
