"Dear Readers (series)" is a title based upon conjecture.

Every issue of the 2015 edition of Doctor Who Adventures was opened by a letter written by the Twelfth Doctor to the reader. Though they lacked an official title, they always began with the line, "Dear Readers".

Each letter typically consisted of the Doctor telling anecdotes about his life, giving readers an idea of what they can expect within any given issue, or even making allusions to upcoming (or, from his perspective, recent) events in his life, such as that issue's comic strip, or events from the television series.

The series can be considered a spiritual successor to Hello, Time Travellers!, a similar series of letters that opened issues of the original 2006 incarnation of the magazine, written by the Eleventh Doctor.
