After freeing children from Medicare Central on Ceres Alpha, the Eighth Doctor gave them names: Quaxo, Coricopat, Rum Tum Tugger, Mungojerrie, Rumpelteazer, Bombalurina, Mr Mistoffelees, Macavity, Asparagus, Bustopher Jones, Skimbleshanks, and Jellylorum. Behind the scenes

In the original 1981 London cast of the musical, Bonnie Langford portrayed Rumpleteazer while Brian Blessed portrayed Bustopher Jones and Old Deuteronomy. In the 2019 theatrical adaptation, Ian McKellen played "Gus" and James Corden played Bustopher Jones.
