History

Background

At least in the original timeline, before Big Bang Two, (TV: The Big Bang [+]Loading...["The Big Bang (TV story)"]) Prisoner Zero had escaped from the Atraxi, through a crack in time, into Amelia Pond's house in 1996, where she lived alone with her Aunt Sharon. He was eventually recaptured in 2008, with the help of the Eleventh Doctor, after having committed further misdeeds on Earth. (TV: The Eleventh Hour [+]Loading...["The Eleventh Hour (TV story)"])

In the new timeline, created when the Eleventh Doctor piloted the Pandorica into the heart of his exploding TARDIS, Amy's parents were returned to history, and the crack in her bedroom wall retroactively sealed up. (TV: The Big Bang [+]Loading...["The Big Bang (TV story)"]) Prisoner Zero insisted that they had done nothing wrong in the first place, and were simply being persecuted for their comedy routine.
