Doctor Who spoofs

There is some difference between Curse of Fatal Death and other sketches.

The Curse of Fatal Death article is an exception to these spoofs for plenty of reasons, key amongst these is that it's a fully formed adventure and was given a stand-alone video release, the others haven't they've always formed parts of other shows, often as skits that are part of those shows. The other sketches were released 'bonus features' of the Curse of the Fatal Death video, rather than 'along with it'.

I think that the Doctor Who parodies page covers the sketches fine enough. It covers sketches from the 70s to 2000s. There isn't anything really significant about the Lenny Henry sketch, nothing that holds it above most of the other sketches on that article.

I seem to recall the Extras sketch having an article before it was prop deleted, all the other sketches are roughly the same length and in a similar genre of shows.

I think there would likely be a case for such an article's deletion if created, however, a case could be made for its inclusion, though it'd need to have an overwhelming amount of information, more info than could be included on the Doctor Who parodies page. More information than the Extras info that's already on there. Also while you could create an article based on the TV story article layout you'd really need to fill it with a lot of information and especially sourced information, given the sketch's limited availability.

Please Do Not Revert Others' Legitimate Edits

Please stop reverting legitimate edits. You have reverted quite a few legitimate edits by different IP addresses. For example, in Blood of the Cybermen, it is clearly stated that the Cyber-Lord and the Cybermen were caught in a timestorm and they are not from present day, 60.241.108.140's edit was perfectly legitimate, yet you reverted his/her edit without providing any rationale. --203.168.176.42 03:05, September 27, 2010 (UTC)

Aside: since the rollback feature doesn't allow for an edit reason, I've found it best to use that for spam and vandalism (or edit wars) only. When a reason is obviously needed, the "undo" is a much better option, since it allows for a reason to be entered, which often aids understanding over a simple revert. -- sulfur 10:40, September 27, 2010 (UTC)

  1. Your the one thats wrong do you really think that the cybermen from petes world aren't in blood of the cybermen in the adventure games.
  2. Haven't you seen the last 2 episodes of season 5 AKA season 32. The cybermen are a cameo in the pandorica opens but Stone in the big bang.
  3. If you look on the front cover of destiny of the doctors it's got cybermen on it.
  4. So stop erasing my stuff and everyone elses that you've erased. Right or Wrong you don't do it unless you really know it.

Another note

The reason I wanted to make a page on McDonnell was really down to the fact that he is due to make a series of video blogs for the BBC behind the scenes of Series 6. Perhaps he is not notable enough, but I thought he was now considering the fact that most cast and crew members from every story ever have an article.


At the end of the day, Charlie is now making a production for the BBC.
