Slitheen family

The Slitheen Family are a family of criminals from the planet Raxacoricofallapatorius who seized control of the UK government and attempted to start a nuclear war in the stories "Aliens of London" and "World War Three," their ultimate aim being to turn the Earth into a huge nuclear reactor pile and sell its remains off as starship fuel. The Slitheen also figure with another family from the same planet, the Blatheen, in the Ninth Doctor novel, "The Monsters Inside." Blon Fel Fotch Pasameer-Day Slitheen, the Slitheen disguised as Margaret Blaine of MI5 and lone survivor of the Slitheen group which tried to destroy Earth in 2006, returns in the story, "Boom Town."
