Bio

I have always been a Sci-fi fan and had heard of Doctor Who, but never looked into it. I'm pretty sure I caught the Doctor Who: The TV Movie, or at least part of it, when it aired on FOX. Really, the only things I remember of it are a scene or two of Chang Lee and that he was misled to working for the wrong side. It wasn't until the SciFi Channel picked up the revival that I started watching it on a regular basis. Between the Ninth and Tenth Doctor, the Tenth has become my favorite.

The Master's Musical Number

Yes, the Master's one and only musical number deserves its own section: Watch

What Grinds My Gears

Will the New Series ever have Recurring Villains?

One thing I've noticed with this show is that most villains only last one or two storylines. Now, I'm not talking about recurring species like the Daleks, but the same individuals. Even older recurring villains, like the Master, were only brought back to be killed off right away (yes, I realize he could come back, but that would still only be his second storyline). However, this rule will be broken for the first time when Dalek Caan shows up again for his third storyline.

Evolution of the Daleks

Why didn't Dalek Caan just exterminate the Doctor rather than temporal shift?

Doomsday

Cyber-Leader: "Daleks, be warned. You have declared war upon the Cybermen."
Dalek Sec: "This is not war. This is pest control!"
Cyber-Leader: "We have five million Cybermen. How many are you?"
Dalek Sec: "Four."
Cyber-Leader: "You would destroy the Cybermen with four Daleks?"
Dalek Sec: "We would destroy the Cybermen with one Dalek! You are superior in only one respect."
Cyber-Leader: "What is that?"
Dalek Sec: "You are better at dying."

The Family of Blood

"He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night, and the storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the center of time and he can see the turn of the universe. And... he's wonderful."
Tim Latimer
"He never raised his voice. That was the worst thing -- the fury of the Time Lord -- and then we discovered why. Why this Doctor, who had fought with gods and demons, why he had run away from us and hidden... He was being kind."
