Easter Island was located in the Pacific Ocean. The Eleventh Doctor was worshipped there when he visited alongside River Song. (DW: The Impossible Astronaut) River made note that their worship was the reason behind the very iconic statues on the island.

The Fourth Doctor and Leela visited Easter Island in 1872. (PDA: Eye of Heaven)
