Charles II was the King of England from 1660 to 1685.

Biography

Charles became the king in 1660 after parliament invited him to take the throne of England. (PDA: The Roundheads)

Charles found the Eleventh Doctor hiding beneath his daughter's dress after she had painted a picture of him entitled "My Mysterious Doctor"; this angered Charles so much that he sent the Doctor to Tower of London.
