.
Please discuss only those whole stories which have already been released and obey our spoiler policy.
This page is for the discussion of anti-canonical narrative and simple plot holes that you find (or at the very least, you think you find) in the Doctor Who universe story, [[]]. Remember, this is a forum, so civil discussion is encouraged. However, as this is a slightly different section of the forum, this time please do not sign your answers/questions. Please keep all posts about the same continuity error under the same bullet point. You can add a new point by typing:

* This is point one.
::This is a counter-argument to point one.
:::This is a counter-argument to the counter-argument above
* This is point two.
::Explanation of point two.
::Further discussion and query of point two.

... and so on.

If you'd like to talk about narrative problems with this story — like plot holes and things that seem to contradict other stories — please go to this episode's discontinuity discussion.

Instructions for {{Discontinuity}}
This template is for the maintenance of the pages which branch off from Theory:DW discontinuity. It will only work properly on that page, and the television story page to which it is related.
  • On the forum page: It sets forth some guidelines of how the new section is to be used. It contains some automatic script which links to the page of the article in mainspace having to do with that article. So no matter what page it's on, it will link to the right article. It even takes into account the parentheticals sometimes attached to TV story names. So it will link properly to Castrovalva (TV story) and to the unmodified An Unearthly Child. It should be placed at the very top of the forum page.
  • On the story page: It puts up a note, linking back to the forum page, to make discussion of the episode easier. It should be placed directly under the header, "Production errors"

Sample output

This template displays very differently depending on the page on which it is placed. For examples, see The Eleventh Hour#Production errors and Theory:Doctor Who television discontinuity and plot holes/The Eleventh Hour.
