Lake Silencio

Lake Silencio was located in Utah. On 22nd April, 2011, the Eleventh Doctor brought his companions to the lake for a picnic, knowing that his death was to occur there. During the picnic, a past version of River Song in a space suit from the Apollo program emerged from the lake and shot the Doctor three times, killing him. His body was later placed in a burning boat and pushed into the lake's water. (DW: The Impossible Astronaut)
