The Terpsivores were an old Betelgeusian species who looked like sixty foot long centipedes . They gained their power through dance. Their technology included a Terpsivore Controller which could travel across seven galaxies and transport people. These paceships resembled dance floors and were powered by dance. Terpsivores could induce hypnosis through weird techo music. Their spaceships travelled by translocating into hyperspace and also had self-destruct settings. Terpsivore time was kept in microspans, twelve of which were less than two minutes. (DWAN: Death Disco)
- The Doctor described the Terpsivore's "natural form", meaning that they may be able to morph from their centipede appearance.
