Velociraptor
Velociraptors were a type of small Dinosaur, smaller than a human. They lived in Mongolia during the Cretaceous period.
History
The Master once used the Tissue Compression Eliminator against a velociraptor revived by the fountain of youth. However, it landed right back in the fountain, re-emerging unharmed but miniscule in size, and made quite a comical sight. (ST: A Town Called Eternity)

Velociraptors were among the species placed aboard the Silurian Ark to repopulate the Earth with once the catastrophe the Silurians incorrectly predicted had passed. Behind the Scenes
- Although the dinosaurs featured in Dinosaurs on a Spaceship were referred to as "velociraptors," actual velociraptors were the size of dogs. Velociraptor is a term which has been popularised in popular culture to refer to any number of dinosaurs related to velociraptors.
