- Even if one reads the story from beginning to end and back again, it is never revealed who, or what, snatched the young female executive from her own time and abandoned her on the alien planet.
Continuity
- The Doctor mentions Tegan as being one of his former companions, so the story would appear to be at some unspecified point after TV: Resurrection of the Daleks, while Turlough is presumably having a break from the TARDIS, and before TV: Planet of Fire.
