On 18 January, a number of things set in or relevant to the Doctor Who universe were released or published.
- 1964 - "The Expedition" was first broadcast on BBC tv.
- 1969 - Episode Four of The Krotons was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1969 - Part three of TV Comic story Father Time was first published.
- 1975 - Part Four of Robot was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1975 - Part two of TV Comic story Death Flower was first published.
- 1979 - The novelisation of The Hand of Fear was first released by Target Books.
- 1982 - Part One of Four to Doomsday was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1983 - Part One of Snakedance was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1990 - The novelisation of Planet of Giants was first released by Target Books. With this release, all serials of the First Doctor era were now novelised.
- 1996 - Just War and the novelisation of Downtime were first published by Virgin Books.
- 1997 - Part three of Radio Times comic story Perceptions was first published.
- 2010 - DVD box set The Peladon Tales, including The Curse of Peladon and The Monster of Peladon, was first released in Region 2.
