The Second Series of The Sarah Jane Adventures will feature 12 episodes split over 6 two part stories. It will air on the BBC in the autumn.

Novelisations
Unlike Series 1, which saw every storyline adapted in novel form, as of December 2008 it has not yet been announced whether any Series 2 episodes will be similarly adapted.
Rumors
It is rumored that David Tennant will appear as the Tenth Doctor for at least one scene - but this has been specifically denied by the production team
It is rumored that K9 will appear.
It is rumored that Julian Bleach may be making a cameo as Davros from unseen footage from Journey's End, showing that he may have survived.
