Cassie Elizabeth Schofield, (1981-2004) code name Artemis while employed by the Forge and possibly Cassandra Hope Schofield, was the mother of the Seventh Doctor's companion Hex, whose full name was Thomas Hector Schofield. Biography
Cassandra was born to Hilda Schofield in Royal Bolton Hospital on 7 April 1981. She gave birth to her son in the same hospital on 12 October 1998. She was reported missing on 23 August 2001 (AUDIO: Project: Destiny) but was actually turned into a vampire. (AUDIO: Project: Twilight)
Her son, whom she referred to affectionately as "Little Tommy," was only six years old when she was killed by Nimrod in the Forge in November 2004. (AUDIO: Project: Lazarus)
Hex was raised by his father and maternal grandmother, whom he believed to be his mother until he was six. (AUDIO: Night Thoughts) He had only one photograph of Cassie, which was in his flat in Shoreditch. He regretted not bringing it with him before departing 2021 in the company of the Seventh Doctor and Ace. (AUDIO: No Man's Land)
