Yuri Stepashin was a scientist specialising in atom and radiation research. He was kidnapped by Don Chaney's gang to help them work out the nature of the Laiderplacker weapons they found. Glory Bee was looking for him on behalf of the Soviet Union. (AUDIO: Invaders from Mars)
