Alexei Kozlov was an officer who sent Leonid Kurakin to look for the Grigori Kalashnikov and Christina Pushkin. He thought he was in a relationship with a former colleague, but was in fact not as she was in a relationship with Larisa Petrov. He wasn't too bothered about that. Laika performed surgery on him to get his vocal chords. (AUDIO: 1963: The Space Race)
