Jobanu was a Nooman, and one of the Dead. He told Jo Grant he could help her find the Third Doctor and Mike Yates. Instead, he led her into the forest where she was engulfed by a tree that implanted a telepathic pseudovirus to control her. (PROSE: Speed of Flight)
