John Gill

John Gill (1912-29 March 2007) played Oak in the Doctor Who story Fury from the Deep.
Gill had a lengthly career from the early 1950's to the late 1990's, appearing on Z-Cars, The Avengers, The Plane Makers, The Saint, Dr. Finlay's Casebook, Dixon of Dock Green, The Baron, Softly, Softly, Paul Temple, Public Eye, Van der Valk, Special Branch, Churchill's People, Juliet Bravo, All Creatures Great and Small and The Bill. He had a regular role playing Fidgett on Swizzlewick.
